How Falcons-Saints tiebreaker works with Buccaneers, Panthers

These are the two outcomes:

If Falcons win

The Panthers get in the playoffs as division champions if the Falcons win.

That's because the Panthers, Falcons and Buccaneers would all be 8-9. The tiebreaker for a three-team tie is a mini-series tiebreaker, which the Panthers lead.

If Saints win

The Buccaneers get in the playoffs as division champs if the Saints win.

This would just have the Panthers and Bucs at 8-9. In the two-team tiebreaker involving common opponent record, the Buccaneers hold the edge.
