The Tampa Bay Buccaneers generated some headlines earlier in the week.
They signed Desmond Watson to their practice squad as part of Week 4 preparations for the Philadelphia Eagles in a battle of 3-0 teams.
Watson is the defensive tackle who left Florida at 464 pounds and tried to drop a bit of that weight this summer while with the Bucs.
They eventually cut him, and he didn't make it back until now.
He was called the "Tush Push Terminator" in the pre-draft process, so there was some belief he'd be active to take on the Eagles and their specialty play.

Is Desmond Watson playing today?
No, Desmond Watson isn't playing on Sunday against the Eagles.
The Buccaneers needed to elevate him from the practice squad by Saturday, and they didn't do so.
They must've decided Watson still wasn't ready for NFL regular season action.
At some point, it seems like the Bucs will probably give him a shot. They've already signed him twice since he went undrafted.
But that shot won't come on Sunday.
