Bucs fans will love Josh Grizzard's quote on Sean Tucker entering Week 12 image

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker, despite the 44-32 loss to the Buffalo Bills, had his way with Sean McDermott's defense all day.

Posting 106 rushing yards and two touchdowns, along with two receptions for 34 yards and a touchdown, Tucker was in good form.

In fact, such good form that many feel he deserves to have more carries than his partner Rachaad White, who only got 10 carries in Buffalo.

And for offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard, Tucker deserves more.

"I think what Sean has proven is that he deserves more carries from the time that he's playing more with Buck out, he's really gotten more carries essentially each week,” Grizzard said. “I expect that to continue because he's played really well and Shod [Rachaad White] did as well. I think it was over five a clip from Shod.

"So, when both those guys are going, and you can really have a two-headed monster when it comes to that, then it's really good thing for the Bucs.”

Tucker form gives Buccaneers huge problem

Okay, it is a good problem to have, but a problem nonetheless.

With Tucker playing in this sort of form, he has to be getting carries, but what do the Buccaneers do when starter Bucky Irving enters the fray?

Grizzard can't just drop Tucker back to third string, can he?

In my mind, Tucker has shown that he deserves to jump White in the depth chart and be Irving's backup. Head coach Todd Bowles stated the team will ride the hot hand during games, but there's no doubt Tucker's is the hottest right now.

So yes, his carries might dwindle when Irving returns, but Tucker has shown he deserves the No. 2 role ahead of White.
