The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' horror second half of the season continued, losing 20-17 to the Miami Dolphins, making it seven losses in their last eight games.
But here's the quirky thing about the NFC South.
Despite Tampa Bay being in horrific form, heading into Week 18, thanks to the Carolina Panthers losing to the Seattle Seahawks, if Todd Bowles' team wins, it will be division champ.
But there isn't much confidence going around the franchise right now, and rightly so.
However, speaking post-game, Baker Mayfield laid it all on the line regarding what is coming this week for his team.
"Here's the thing, we still have a chance next week," Mayfield said. "We've been blessed with a chance next week, guys need to handle it the right way. Got to respond. This is our last chance, and it's blatantly obvious. There's no more regular-season games on the schedule. We have this one back at home, and comes down to execution."

Bucs face all-or-nothing Week 18 showdown
One more chance. Somehow, that is what the Buccaneers have.
Whether they deserve it or not is another thing entirely, but the fact that they still have a shot, at home, to win the division is remarkable.
Now, this entire week is massive for Tampa Bay.
With Bowles under increasing pressure, if the Bucs miss the postseason, it will be a tough offseason for the head coach. But manage to scrape in, at least that's something.
However, the Buccaneers won't be in their best form, which could be problematic.
Still, they have to qualify first. And against the Panthers, at home, Tampa Bay knows what it has to do.
