We apparently need to be keeping an eye on Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving ahead of the Week 5 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Head coach Todd Bowles revealed on Monday that a slew of players are set to get MRIs to kick off the week, and one of them is Irving.
When asked if Irving is one of the players he's concerned about, Bowles said, "Yeah, he's one of them," according to the Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud.
At this time, it isn't clear exactly what Irving is dealing with.
Irving has yet to be on the Bucs' injury report this season, but it looks like he'll be making his 2025 debut this week.
Irving is off to a strong start to the season but had his best game in Week 4, when he exploded for 165 scrimmage yards that included a 72-yard touchdown catch. Irving finished with 102 receiving yards and 63 rushing yards.
Irving's injury comes amid the Bucs dealing with multiple on the offensive side of the ball, including to wide receivers Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan.
Thankfully, Chris Godwin returned in Week 4 and rookie Emeka Egbuka continues to shine.
If Irving is forced to miss time, Rachaad White would be the next man up in Tampa.
