The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did not need this.
They were already missing Mike Evans and Chris Godwin due to injury on Sunday in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. Both were out for the week.
And then Emeka Egbuka got hurt.
He was ruled doubtful to return with a hamstring injury during the third quarter.
It wasn't something that caused a long on-field stoppage, but between Tampa Bay drives, the Bucs announced that official injury status update.
Now, Tampa Bay is way down deep on the WR depth chart.

Buccaneers WR depth chart
With Evans, Godwin and Egbuka all off the field, this is how the WR depth chart looks for Tampa Bay:
- Sterling Shepard
- Tez Johnson
- Kameron Johnson
- Ryan Miller
At this point, they'll likely be somewhat interchangeable. All the roles are mixed up without the top-three guys out there.
Egbuka had his helmet on on the sideline, but it seems like the Bucs wouldn't use him again unless someone else got hurt, too.
