The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have spent the entire season trying to get healthy.
At least the good news entering Week 12 is that something positive is happening.
Chris Godwin is supposed to make his return to the field for Sunday Night Football, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Godwin has been out with a fibula injury.
The bad news came from Schefter on Saturday night, too, though. Bucky Irving won't play Sunday.
But then there's some good Irving news, too: He's expected to play in Week 13.
As for Mike Evans, if you're wondering?
He remains on Injured Reserve with a broken collarbone.
The Bucs take on the Rams on Sunday night. It's a big game as far as talent and records are concerned, although it's not a classic divisional matchup or anything like that.
Baker Mayfield would sure love to get Godwin back.
He's been throwing plenty to the rookie Emeka Egbuka. But without Godwin or Evans, the depth gets thin quick beyond another rookie, Tez Johnson.
A Godwin return just adds a reliable target for the stretch run.
The Bucs are coming off a loss on Sunday to the Buffalo Bills. As they get healthier, it'll allow them to finish the regular season strong.
