Why JSN isn't doing anything for Seahawks despite Jaxon Smith-Njigba playing in huge game image

Jaxon Smith-Njigba entered Thursday Night Football leading the NFL in receiving yards.

He wasn't adding to it much, though, for the Seattle Seaahwks.

JSN didn't have a single catch in the first half.

The Seahawks were moving the ball anyway, but it's really weird to see. Smith-Njigba has 1,541 receiving yards this season. You think he'd be adding to it, right?

Why isn't JSN doing anything?

The Rams have guarded Smith-Njigba well.

When Seattle put him out wide, the Rams were able to bracket coverage against him.

Fittingly, the first completion the Seahawks got to him was when JSN lined up in the backfield and ran a quick route from there.

Smith-Njigba was never going to be shut out, and fittingly, he started getting going right about when this article was being written.

But it's certainly still been much quieter than anyone would've expected for the superstar out of Ohio State.
