Where is Russell Wilson? Explaining QB's path from Seahawks, Broncos to playing for new NFL teams image

A couple of Russell Wilson's former teams are playing in conference championship games.

The Seattle Seahawks are trying to make the Super Bowl out of the NFC against the Los Angeles Rams. And the Denver Broncos have the same task in the AFC against the New England Patriots.

Russ won't be there, of course.

The Seahawks have moved on, first to Geno Smith and now to Sam Darnold.

The Broncos got Bo Nix, who is out Sunday injured with Jarrett Stidham as his replacement.

Russ has made a couple stops since Denver.

Where is Russell Wilson?

Wilson has made two NFL stops since he left Denver.

First, he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024.

Then in 2025, Wilson was with the New York Giants.

Wilson started the first three games with the Giants before Jaxson Dart took over as a rookie starter.

Russ will be a free agent when the new league year arrives in March.
