The Seattle Seahawks earned a first-round bye in the NFL playoffs, and with the extra week of rest, the team's veterans and Nick Emmanwori went out for the rookie dinner.
It's a common practice where the rookie will buy the veterans on the team dinner. But the Seahawks veterans decided to pull a hilarious prank on the standout Seahawks rookie DB.
As Emmanwori shared on his Instagram, the Seahawks veterans handed him a fake check, which came to a ridiculous 6-figure total.
Fortunately for the star rookie, it was just a prank.

Seahawks' Nick Emmanwori pranked with $114,566.35 rookie dinner bill
Emmanwori shared the fake rookie dinner bill, which came to an absurd $114,566.35 total.
Over $100,000 for one dinner.
Emmanwori is getting a base salary of $840,000 this year. That would mean this rookie dinner, if real, would've been a ridiculous 13.6 percent of his salary. One meal would've cost Emmanwori more than a tenth of his rookie salary.
While he could've afforded such a ridiculous dinner check, fortunately for him, it was a prank pulled by the veterans, and a hilarious one at that.

Uchena Nwosu shared the real check, which Emmanwori commented on with "Dis da real 1!" The real check came to a total of. $22,524.85, which is still a ridiculous sum of money for one meal.
