The Seattle Seahawks have been on a roll lately, winning their Thursday Night Football game over the Los Angeles Rams to take the NFC West lead and a chance at the 1 seed away from their division rival.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been a huge reason why the Seahawks are in such a great spot, as he's been in the middle of an incredible breakout season. But he's not the only one having such a great season.

In fact, as Underdog points out on Twitter/x, Smith-Njigba and Rams WR Puka Nacua have eerily similar stats this season. When it comes to targets, yards, and touchdowns, the two are in lock step this season.

Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rams' Puka Nacua have eerily similar stats this season

Entering Week 17, Smith-Njigba has 142 targets for 104 receptions, 1,637 yards, and 10 touchdowns. Nacua has 145 targets for 114 receptions, 1,592 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns.

While Smith-Njigba has Nacua beat, if adding in their rushing production, the two's comparison is nearly identical. JSN has 143 targets, 1,673 total yards, and 10 TDs, while Nacua has 145 targets, 1,673 total yards, and nine TDs.

Both having 1,673 total rushing/receiving yards this season is an incredible coincidence. They've both been on a tear this season, and while JSN has been the more prolific receiver, they've both had overall great seasons.

The NFC West wide receivers were both named to the Pro Bowl roster, and while Smith-Njigba might have Nacua beat as a receiver, their scrimmage totals are eerily similar.

With two weeks to go this season, following how these two finish will be very interesting. Smith-Njigba will face the Carolina Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers, while Nacua will face the Atlanta Falcons and the Arizona Cardinals.

Nacua has the more favorable matchups, but Smith-Njigba cannot be counted out, especially with how explosive he's been this season.

While following how these two teams finish in the NFC playoff standings will be more important than the battle between these two WRs, seeing who finishes with the better stats will be an interesting storyline to follow up on after the regular season comes to a close.
