The Seattle Seahawks accomplished quite a bit this season. They won the toughest division in football, the NFC West, and also won the NFC overall.
Securing the first seed in the conference entitled them to a first-round bye, and the way it worked out, they're now set to face their division rival, the San Francisco 49ers, in their first playoff game. This will be the third time the two teams have faced off this season.
Much of their success this season can be attributed to the great play of QB Sam Darnold, who's done nothing but repeat the same regular-season success he found in Minnesota last season.
His downfall with the Vikings was the playoffs. Now, thanks to an update from the Seattle Seahawks, the playoffs may be his downfall once again.
Seahawks list Sam Darnold as questionable
The Seahawks released their weekly injury report today ahead of this week's matchup against San Francisco, and it included a name no one expected to see.
Seattle listed QB Sam Darnold's status for the game as questionable with an oblique injury.

While Seattle's running game has been the driving force of their offense, Darnold's efficiency managing the games and leveling up Jaxson Smith-Njigba has been what's taken them over the top.
It's not so much the injury itself that's concerning as it is the nature of how it appeared out of nowhere. This hasn't been a lingering issue, or at least hasn't been reported as such.
If Darnold can''t play on Saturday, could the Seahawks be in trouble?
