In one of the bigger games of the NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks will travel to Los Angeles to take on the Los Angeles Rams.
The Seahawks and Rams are both at the top of the NFC West Standings at 7-2, both winning four straight as well.
As the Seahawks get prepared for this game, the focus will clearly be on quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford has played like an MVP candidate this season, throwing for an impressive 2,427 yards, 25 touchdowns, and just two interceptions.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the matchup, Seahawks star Devon Witherspoon admitted that it's just another game against a very good Rams team, but he also praised Stafford for what he's able to do for his offense.
"I mean, he's a vet quarterback. He got all the characteristics you need for a quarterback. He knows how to operate his offense. He knows defenses really well. He knows how to identify pressures and get the ball out to guys. So, it's, like, he's everything you want in a quarterback, so it's going to be a great test for our defense, and we just got to go out there and play,” he said in a press conference for the team.
Seahawks' defense has been incredible
The Seahawks’ defense has really done a great job over the past few months, showing why it is one of the better units in the NFL.
Outside of a rough game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there hasn't been a point where Seattle's defense hasn't stepped up.
They'll need to be on their best behavior on Sunday, as the Rams will look to win this one at home and understand the importance of the stakes.
