The Super Bowl 60 matchup is set, as Sam Darnold's Seahawks will take on Drake Maye's Patriots.
The debates have already begun on who people believe will win, with the talks centered on how good both defenses are.
Unfortunately for Darnold, he has to live with the fact that he has a horrendous record when playing the Patriots in his career.

Unbelievable Sam Darnold stat suggests Seahawks have no chance against the Patriots
In Sam Darnold's career, he has a record of 0-4 against the Patriots (via Underdog).
Being winless against a team is never good, but what is more ridiculous is the margin by which Darnold's team has been outscored in those losses.
In the four losses, he's been outscored 23-123. That's a 100-point difference, which is an average loss of 25 points (four-possession game).

In Darnold's fairness, three of those games came with the Jets earlier in his career when he wasn't playing nearly as well as he's played now, and the Jets as a team were awful back then.
The other loss was with the Panthers in 2021.
In his four career games against New England, Darnold has 1 touchdown and 9 interceptions.
Darnold knows his upcoming match with the Patriots should hopefully be a closer game than any of his past matches with New England, but in the back of his mind, his past struggles against the Patriots will be on his mind.
