The Seattle Seahawks have had an incredible season so far, thanks to the addition of Sam Darnold and a few pieces defensively. They're in first in the NFC and have a chance to secure a first-round bye this season.
But the most prominent Seahawk this season has been Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The 23-year-old wide receiver has been nothing short of incredible, and while he's not going to break any NFL records, his production this season is as good as any WR in the NFL.
With his strong play in mind, the National Football League's announcement on Smith-Njigba for the 2025 Pro Bowl games is hardly a surprise. JSN is back in the Pro Bowl for the second straight season, and this time, it's as the best WR in the NFL.
NFL makes JSN announcement for Pro Bowl
As the NFL announced before the overall Pro Bowl announcement, Smith-Njigba is one of the four wide receivers to make the Pro Bowl out of the NFC.
Puka Nacua of the Los Angeles Rams, George Pickens of the Dallas Cowboys, and Amon Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions join JSN for the NFC's wide receiver representation.
For Smith-Njigba, this honor is very well deserved. Last season, his first Pro Bowl nod, he had 100 receptions, 1,130 receiving yards, and six touchdowns in 17 games.
This season, through 15 games, JSN has 104 receptions for 1,637 receiving yards (most in the NFL) and 10 touchdowns.
The Seahawks wide receiver is very deserving of this honor, and in his three-year NFL career, he's emerging as one of the top receivers in the NFL.
Smith-Njigba has set career highs in targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns, along with an incredible 15.7 yards per reception and 109.1 yards per game.
It's a well-deserved honor for JSN, and he's joined at the Pro Bowl by Seahawks teammates Sam Darnold, Devon Witherspoon, Rashid Shaheed (kick returner), Demarcus Lawrence, and Leonard Williams.
