Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III is entering a crucial offseason for his career.
Walker is coming off a season in which he was limited to just 11 games due to injury, and he ended his campaign on injured reserve due to a high-ankle sprain.
The former second-round pick is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and there has been no shortage of speculation that he could be traded.
Kenneth Walker III injury update
In what is a good sign for his 2025 prospects, Walker appears to be fully healthy as the Seahawks go through OTAs.
According to the team's official site, which includes pictures of players taking part in drills at during voluntary workouts, Walker is in attendance and active in those drills.
Walker put together two impressive showings to begin his career, with the running back tallying over 1,200 scrimmage yards in 2022, and over 1,100 the following campaign.
However, there was a clear drop-off in his production in 2024, which might be a result of Walker not being fully healthy.
Over his 11 games, Walker saw his yards per carry average dip for the second straight season, with the Michigan State product tallying a career-low 3.7 yards per tote.
Zach Charbonnet played well in Walker's absence, and Kenny McIntosh has shown some flashes in his limited work.
That, along with his contract situation, has led many to believe that Walker could be traded, although there haven't been any rumors to suggest he's available.
No matter where he plays in 2025, Walker needs a huge bounce-back season if he's going to earn himself a lucrative long-term deal in 2026.
