The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks will take part in a battle for first place in the NFC West and the No. 1 seed in the conference on Thursday night.

Three of the fantasy-relevant players who will be involved are Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker and quarterback Sam Darnold, and Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Here's some fantasy football start or sit advice for Darnold, Walker and Stafford ahead of the Week 16 contest on Thursday night.

Kenneth Walker star or sit advice

Walker enters Week 16 ranked as RB25 overall, which puts him on the weekly flex radar in all formats.

The Rams present a difficult matchup for Walker, with Los Angeles giving up the fewest fantasy points per game to running backs.

However, Walker was productive the last time out against Los Angeles, with the Seahawks running back tallying 111 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown.

One potential positive for Walker's workload in Week 16 is the weather, which calls for high wind gusts that could impact the passing attack and lead to more work for him.

When we put it all together, Walker is a decent flex option for Week 16.

Verdict: Start

Sam Darnold start or sit advice

Darnold walks into this week ranked as QB15 overall, which means he isn't a locked-in starter from week to week, even in 12-team leagues.

The Rams are a fairly tough matchup for quarterbacks, with Los Angeles surrendering the 12th-fewest fantasy points per contest.

Darnold had a disastrous showing against the Rams last time out, finishing with 279 passing yards and four picks.

We also have to take the weather into account, as high wind gusts will be prominent in this game and that could hurt Darnold's production further.

There's just not enough meat on the bone here to trust Darnold in lineups this week.

Verdict: Sit

Matthew Stafford start or sit advice

This is a brutal situation for Stafford owners.

The Rams signal-caller has been an elite fantasy quarterback this season, ranking as QB4 overall going into Thursday night.

However, he faces an elite Seahawks defense giving up the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, and inclement weather with rain and high wind gusts are another concern.

In his last game against the Seahawks, Stafford threw for 130 yards and two scores, which isn't great but wasn't a disastrous showing, either.

We hate this situation for Stafford, but he has just been too good to sit. We're still starting Stafford on Thursday night, but expectations must be tempered.

Verdict: Start
