The start time for divisional-round game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks has been pushed back.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the playoff game between the NFC West rivals will now start at 8:20 p.m. ET instead of its original 8 p.m. ET start time.
So, why was the game pushed back? Here's what we know.
Why Seahawks-49ers start time was pushed back
The answer is very simple: the other divisional round game between the Broncos and Bills went into overtime and is bleeding into the original start time of 49ers versus Seahawks.
Because the league doesn't want both games going on at the same time because it would split viewership and force some viewers to miss the start of the game, the league is pushing back the start time of Seahawks-49ers.
When the game does kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET, it'll be broadcast on FOX.
