Although Brock Prudy and the San Francisco 49ers have dealt with many health issues throughout the season, they still find themselves at 9-4.

Purdy, even though it may not look the part from a numbers standpoint, has still managed to have a productive season, even with the uncertainty at the wide receiver position.

Coming into the season, star wideout Brandon Aiyuk was expected to be the team's number one receiver after the team traded away All-Pro Deebo Samuel last offseason to the Washington Commanders. Before the departure of Samuel, Aiyuk showed flashes of potentially stepping into that lead receiver role.

However, after suffering a torn ACL last season, in the first year of his four-year, $120 million contract, Aiyuk has been sidelined, which has led to Jauan Jennings filling the shoes and looking to be the next big receiver in the Bay Area and for Purdy.

Purdy is another 49er who has battled a long-term injury, but actually returned last month after almost missing two full months of action with turf toe, and he has still been able to be elite in specific categories.

In fact, the former seventh-round pick played in only his sixth game of the season against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, with 289 passing yards, three touchdowns, and a 140.3 passer rating.

Now, Purdy did have his worst game of the season a few weeks ago on 'Monday Night Football' against the Carolina Panthers, where he threw three first-half interceptions. However, aside from that, the QB is still playing at a high level, and even though it most likely won't happen, it is still possible that Purdy could finish in the top three in efficiency if he can put together more performances such as this one.
