San Francisco 49ers players have dealt with a litany of injuries this season, from short-term issues to season-ending blows. It's been an injury-riddled season.
Entering their playoff matchup on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles, the 49ers had two key injuries to monitor on offense: Trent Williams and Ricky Pearsall.
While Williams is active, as the 49ers announced, Pearsall, the team's number 2 wide receiver, is going to miss the Wild Card round of the playoffs amid knee and ankle injuries.
49ers to be without Ricky Pearsall vs. Eagles
Persall is listed as inactive for the Eagles matchup, which leaves the 49ers without one of their top two wide receivers this season.
Jauan Jennings is active and will lead the room, while Demarcus Robinson, Kendrick Bourne, Skyy Moore, Jordan Watkins, and recently elevated Malik Turner will get the work at wide receiver.
George Kittle is good to go, as is Christian McCaffrey. While the 49ers are down Pearsall, the majority of the offense is good to go.

But, his absence is a big one. He has 36 receptions for 528 yards this year in 10 games played. While he's missed a lot of the year, when he's active, he's a big piece of the offense.
Against a tough Eagles defense, with All-Pro cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, having Pearsall would've been a nice boost.
But Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purdy will need to go on without him for at least one more week, as the former first-round wide receiver deals with multiple injuries to his knee and ankle this season.
