The Las Vegas Raiders have had a few problems on both sides of the football this season, but the lack of what they've been able to do on the offensive side has been very concerning. Former San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly is likely to take some of the blame.

As things currently stand, the Raiders have scored the second-fewest points in the AFC, only behind the 1-9 Tennessee Titans. With 155 points scored, the Raiders also ranked third-worst in the NFL.

As the Raiders look to improve on the offensive side of the football, it'll be interesting to see what Pete Carroll does.

However, when speaking to reporters about it, it doesn't sound like a change to the offensive coordinator situation is coming anytime in the near future for Carroll and Kelly.

"We’ve been working together the whole time,” Carroll said of Kelly when speaking to reporters. “Chip has a world of experience that I’ve counted on throughout, and we’re always working to continue to grow together as much as we can. We’ve been disappointed two of the last three weeks with what we’ve done. … We’re trying to get it right.”

Why Kelly could be canned

It seems relatively clear that Carroll doesn't have any plans of moving on from Kelly in the near future, but he may have to make a change if the Raiders' offense continues to struggle the way it has.

There's no reason why a team, despite some of the limited talent they have on that side of the football, should be struggling this much.

Geno Smith looks worse than ever, and the Raiders have had some problems in the run game as well. Vegas has the fourth-fewest rushing yards in the NFL this season.
