The San Francisco 49ers are dealing with an injury to starting quarterback Brock Purdy, and his backup, Mac Jones.
Purdy is set to miss yet another game this week as he continues to work his way back from a toe injury.
Meanwhile, Jones was listed on the injury report with oblique and knee issues after clearly being hobbled in an incredible win over the Los Angeles Rams last week.
Jones was able to practice this week, albeit in a limited fashion, and he is sitting with a questionable tag ahead of the Week 6 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Here's what we know about his situation for Sunday.
Is Mac Jones playing today?
UPDATE: Jones is officially active.
#49ers QB Mac Jones is officially active, and can unlock a $400,000 incentive by leading the team to his fourth win today.

END OF UPDATE
Yes, Mac Jones is expected to play on Sunday for the 49ers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"49ers QB Mac Jones, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an oblique injury, is expected to play vs. the Buccaneers, per sources," Schefter wrote.
Mac Jones start or sit advice
You can probably find a more sure option this week with only two teams on bye, but Jones is on the starting radar in Week 6 nonetheless.
Not only has he been playing well in Kyle Shanahan's system, Jones is also facing a Buccaneers defense that is giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.
After finishing as QB10 overall last week, Jones is a fringe starting option.
Verdict: Start
