The Las Vegas Raiders will be missing tight end Brock Bowers in Week 6 due to a knee injury. This is the second game in a row Bowers has missed.
He suffered the injury in Week 1 and the team opted to sit him to get him back to 100% after Bowers tried playing through the injury for three weeks.
Bowers didn't show any progress this week in terms of practice participation, as he was a non-participant all week before being ruled out. That is not a good sign for his Week 7 status.
Based on a comment made by head coach Pete Carroll during the week, it appears there's a very real chance Bowers won't suit up in Week 7, either.

UPDATE: According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Bowers is unlikely to play in Week 7.

END OF UPDATE
After labeling Bowers as "day-to-day" on Oct. 5, Carroll changed the outlook for the young tight end to "week-to-week" a few days later.
“[H]e’s week-to-week,” Carroll said on Monday. “We got to see what’s going on and see if we can get him back. And he’s dying to play. We went all the way till Saturday’s walk-through to see if he could go, and it didn’t feel like he could.
"So, we’ll just start over again, do it again this week.”
After ruling Bowers out on Friday, Carroll said the Raiders' best offensive player is "not quite there yet" while adding that the team is "trying to make sure that once he's back, he stays back, and there's no setbacks."
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Bowers has been diagnosed with a PCL injury and bone bruise in his knee and rest is the only way to get it right.
Clearly the Raiders are taking their time with the former No. 13 overall pick, which is the right move considering how important he is to this team.
Las Vegas did get healthier in the tight ends room this week despite Bowers' status, though, as fellow tight end Michael Mayer will be returning from his concussion.
