After being a huge piece of the San Francisco 49ers' offense earlier in the season, it has been mostly crickets from wide receiver Kendrick Bourne of late.
Bourne tallied a pair of 142-yard games in Weeks 5 and 6 while the Niners were dealing with injuries at wide receiver, but as the team has gotten healthier, his production has fallen off a cliff over the past five weeks.
Early on in the Week 12 game against the Carolina Panthers, it has been more of the same for Bourne. Here's a closer look at his lackluster start.
Is Kendrick Bourne playing tonight?
UPDATE: Bourne wasn't targeted on the Niners' second drive, but the series also lasted just one play because of an interception.
Yes, Bourne is active and in the lineup, he just wasn't targeted on San Francisco's first offensive series, which featured a ton of running back Christian McCaffrey.
We can only hope Bourne will break out as the game progresses, but that is not even close to guaranteed to happen.
