Jauan Jennings has been a touchdown machine for the San Francisco 49ers in the second half of the 2025 season.

While his yardage production hasn't been great, Jennings has scored at least one time in seven of his last eight games, including two scores in Week 15.

However, Jennings isn't doing much of anything early on in the Week 18 game against the Seattle Seahawks, which is particularly noteworthy with fellow wideout Ricky Pearsall out due to injury.

Here's why Jennings is off to a slow start.

Is Jauan Jennings playing tonight?

Yes, Jennings is active and healthy, he just hasn't gotten going yet.

Jennings was targeted on the first drive but appeared to have some miscommunication with quarterback Brock Purdy, which led to an incomplete pass.

The drive also didn't last long, as the Niners went three-and-out, so there wasn't much of an opportunity for anyone on San Fran's offense to get going.

Jennings hasn't been shut out in any game he has played in this season, so he's going to get on the board eventually.
