The San Francisco 49ers have had a weird season.
Much of the oddity centers around the quarterback decision, where Brock Purdy keeps missing time and Mac Jones keeps starting.
But there have also been plenty of injuries that have kept things interesting.
That set up for an intriguing NFL trade deadline day on Tuesday.
In the end, it wasn't interesting at all for the 'Niners.

Did the 49ers make any trades today?
No, the 49ers didn't make any trades on Tuesday before the deadline came and went at 1 p.m. PT.
They had traded with the Patriots for Keion White on Oct. 29, but that was their only move of trade season.
Why didn't the 49ers make any trades?
The 49ers must've felt that the asking price of the players they wanted didn't match up with the value they put on them.
San Francisco is also likely hoping that its big second-half additions will be returns to the field of injured players.
Getting guys like Brock Purdy and Brandon Aiyuk back out there should be as valuable as anyone they could get from another team.
The key will be actually getting them back on the field after injuries have nagged them all season.
