The San Francisco 49ers get to wrap up Week 12 with a primetime clash on Monday Night Football against the Carolina Panthers.
It's also a chance back in the spotlight for a 'Niners QB depth chart that at one point this season was in injury disarray.
Now? Things are a lot healthier.
Is Brock Purdy playing tonight?
Yes, Purdy is good to play Monday night against the Panthers.
He will start at QB, with Mac Jones as his backup.
Jones was a great fill-in for Purdy, but once Purdy was healthy enough to play, Jones returned to the bench.
Purdy returned in Week 11 when the 49ers played at the Arizona Cardinals. San Francisco rolled to a 41-22 win.
In his return, Purdy was 19-for-26 passing for 200 yards and three touchdowns.
Two of Purdy's touchdown passes went to star tight end George Kittle. The other went to Christian McCaffrey (who also ran for a pair of scores against the Cardinals).
Purdy may look for CMC early and often on Monday night, given that McCaffrey is going up against his former team, the Panthers.
Regardless, it's good news for the 49ers that they've got Purdy back after signing him to a huge contract in the offseason.
