The San Francisco 49ers have multiple injury concerns with key players going into the wild-card matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles this week.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed on Wednesday that wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee), left tackle Trent Williams (hamstring) and linebacker Dee Winters (ankle) would not practice.

Shanahan went on to add that he wasn't sure Williams would practice on Thursday, either, which is no doubt a very troubling sign for his chances of suiting up.

Pearsall and Williams both sustained their injuries in Week 17, although Pearsall was able to practice on a limited basis last week, so one has to wonder if he has suffered a setback.

Williams did not practice last week, so it's status quo for him. The glass-half-full look at his situation is the veteran doesn't need to practice to play.

Winters suffered his injury in Week 18, forcing his early exit from the contest.

Winters' status is especially important this week with the team placing fellow linebacker Tatum Bethune on injured reserve due to a groin injury.

The Niners will release two more injury reports this week, with the one on Friday having game designations.

Hopefully all three players improve in that span and are able to go for what is the most important game of San Francisco's season.
