The San Francisco 49ers lost in a blowout to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional round, and while Brock Purdy and the 49ers struggled, it wasn't too much of a surprise for one reason: injuries.

The 49ers have been more banged up than most teams that make it this far into the playoffs. Nearly everyone on offense missed time this season, while key defenders like Fred Warner and Nick Bosa have missed most of the year.

49ers DB Deommodore Lenoir, in a postgame interview on KNBR, was asked how much the injuries came into play. Lenoir made a bold claim that if the 49ers weren't injured like they are, this would be a landslide victory in favor of the 49ers.

Deonmmodore Lenoir claims 49ers would've won in 'landslide' if fully healthy

"Landslide..." Lenoir said. "To have them guys back, it's going to be a totally different game. But I mean, we can't make any excuses; we had enough guys in here to get the job done. So I feel like it just didn't go in our favor."

Lenoir isn't solely putting the blame on the injured players for why the 49ers lost to the Seahawks, as he does say that the 49ers had enough guys ready that they could've won.

But his claim that it would be a landslide victory for the 49ers if they were healthy is hard to take seriously after they were blown out by the Seahawks.

Defensively, the return of multiple key defenders, especially Bosa and Warner, would've made a big difference. But on the offensive side of the ball, the 49ers, for the most part, had a healthy team.

Purdy was playing, as were Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, Christian McCaffrey, and Trent Williams. Only George Kittle missed this game, as the rest of the key players for the 49ers suited up for San Francisco.

While the injuries for the active players throughout the year likely made their play worse than it would've been if they were fully healthy, for the most part, the 49ers had their starting offense on the field.

Maybe if Brandon Aiyuk doesn't have his confrontation with the front office, and the rest of the 49ers' injuries don't come back to bite them this season, then this would've been a closer game.

But it's a bold claim for Lenoir to make, after a blowout loss, that the outcome of the game would've gone the other way had the 49ers been healthy.
