The Pittsburgh Steelers are throwing it back on Monday night, but not too far.

They're wearing their Color Rush uniforms, the ones that used to be used on Thursday Night Football games.

That tradition ended, but on Monday Night Football in Week 15 against the Miami Dolphins, the Steelers are going with their all-black alternate look.

Why are the Steelers wearing all-black Color Rush uniforms?

Pittsburgh chose to change it up for a primetime game.

The last time they wore these was for a Monday Night Football game in October 2024, so they clearly feel they fit the occasion.

The uniforms are pretty striking, with everything black except for the gold numbers and some gold stripes.

There might be another reason Pittsburgh broke these out, too.

In the all-black Color Rush uniforms all-time, the Steelers have an 8-3 record.

They need a win on Monday night, and they're pulling out all the stops to do it.
