The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without a huge presence for their must-win Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.
Darnell Washington won't be on the field.
The 6-foot-7, 311-pound tight end has developed into a very reliable piece of what Pittsburgh does offensively.
But in their most important game of the season, the Steelers will have to figure things out without Washington.

Why isn't Darnell Washington playing tonight?
Darnell Washington isn't playing against the Ravens because he's injured.
The big tight end broke his forearm playing against the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.
It's an injury that wouldn't even allow Washington to get back onto the field for the playoffs, it doesn't seem.
The Steelers will have to find their way to the postseason with their other tight ends from a deep depth chart: Pat Freiermuth, Jonnu Smith and Connor Heyward.
All the big Washington will be able to do is support from the sideline.
