All week, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was dealing with a wrist issue, which was reported to have several fractures, but he got the all clear to play in Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills.

But maybe he shouldn't have.

Rodgers endured a tough first half against the Bills, going six of 13 for just 54 yards as the offense struggled to get anything going.

But starting the second half, the Steelers had a chance to get some positive momentum going, and on the first play, Rodgers ran a play action, but no receivers were open, and Joey Bosa strip-sacked Rodgers, as Christian Benford got a scoop and score while Rodgers lay on the field in pain.

And as it turns out, that might have been his last involvement in the game, as backup quarterback Mason Rudolph came straight into the lineup.

That isn't ideal.

Will Aaron Rodgers return in Week 14?

Given that Pittsburgh pulled the trigger on Rodgers so quickly, it likely tells us that his day is over, and that isn't great for the Steelers.

Granted, Rodgers could still return, but given how uncomfortable he looked in the game, to then get sacked and land on the wrist, it would have to be sore, and we wonder if more damage was done as Bosa came crashing down for the strip-sack.

Either way, it isn't good for the Steelers in this game or for the rest of the season.

Rodgers emerged from the blue tent as his bloodied nose got fixed. Now we await to see if he does return.
