Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Derrick Harmon suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of the preseason Week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers and it doesn't look good.
Harmon has been ruled out for the rest of the game following his injury, the Steelers confirmed, and had to be carted off the field.
While we don't know the exact injury and severity, the video showing Harmon being carted off got a shot of his face and it was clear that the rookie was distraught, which suggests he has a serious injury.
Take a look.

Now, we don't want to jump to conclusions, but it's hard to look at Harmon's face and not think the worst.
Drafted with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, Harmon was slated to start in his first season and has looked good in training camp.
It would be a devastating loss for the Steelers if he's sidelined for the entire season, or even for a big chunk of it. Hopefully we'll get a positive update on him soon.
