Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith loves his tight ends.
They use four TEs in games regularly: Darnell Washington, Pat Freiermuth, Jonnu Smith and Connor Heyward.
On Monday night, that group made history the NFL hasn't seen in a long time.
The ESPN database shared by Brooke Pryor goes back 50 years, and never before has a team had two tight ends run for a touchdown in the same game.

Heyward did it first. His came on a tush push where he lined up under center as the pseudo-QB and got pushed from behind by the 311-pound Washington.
Then it was Jonnu Smith against his former team, the Miami Dolphins. The Steelers ran a sweep right and Smith sprinted and powered his way into the end zone.
Pittsburgh fans surely wouldn't mind seeing the big Washington run for a touchdown, too, but that'll probably have to be saved for another night.

For now, the Steelers will have to settle for this bit of history.
They'll gladly take it. With their tight ends leading the way in all sorts of different ways, Pittsburgh rolled past the Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
