Steelers sign WR that fans are convinced is from Key & Peele skit image

Key & Peele once put together a comedy skit of a fictional "East-West Bowl," and the player introductions feature player names that get more and more absurd.

On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced the signing of a wide receiver, and his name was such that a bunch of social media posters immediately brought up that Key & Peele masterpiece.

This very real receiver's name: Montana Lemonious-Craig.

We'll call him MLC.

MLC began his college career with three seasons at Colorado. Then he finished it off with two seasons at Arizona.

In 47 career college games, Lemonious-Craig had 79 catches for 965 yards and nine touchdowns.

He officially measures at 6-foot-2 and 194 pounds.

The native of Inglewood, California was a three-star prospect in high school.

His junior season in high school, Inglewood went 0-10. As a senior, they went 12-1.

MLC has an even longer full name: Montana-George Eugene Lemonious-Craig.

The Steelers must've decided they just need a bit more offseason receiver depth. If MLC made the 53-man roster, it'd be a massive surprise.

But he'll give it a good go, because unlike the guys in the skit, he's very much a real dude.
