Atlanta Falcons legendary wide receiver Roddy White had a crazy idea Friday night.
He thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars should align on an unprecedented NFL trade involving Shedeur Sanders and Trevor Lawrence.
Here's the full pitch from White:
If I’m the jaguars I draft sheduer call the Steelers and tell them I need 3 first rounders for Trevor and start the franchise fresh with Brian Thomas Travis Hunter and sheduer sanders
— Roddy White (@roddywhiteTV) April 25, 2025
That would be one of the craziest trades in NFL history.
But let's hear White out for a minute.

Lawrence is an established NFL quarterback on a big contract, and the Jags have still struggled to contend.
Meanwhile, the Steelers need a quarterback until Aaron Rodgers finally makes up his mind in free agency.
If Pittsburgh believed Lawrence to be the real deal, trading multiple first-round picks to get him would not be an overpay.
Meanwhile, Jacksonville is still trying to figure things out. The Jags did make an exciting move by going up to get Travis Hunter at No. 2 overall on Thursday night.
As White points out, WR Brian Thomas starred as a rookie in 2024.

The Jacksonville timeline would be more aligned with Sanders playing with his college teammate and another young stud.
Add in three first-rounders that the Jaguars could use on more talented players to fit this new timeline and it seems like quite a possibility for Jacksonville.
Will it happen? Doubtful.
But if someone in one of these front offices follows White on social media, maybe they'll dwell on it for a bit.
