The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced their list of inactives for the Week 14 game against the Baltimore Ravens and neither Adam Thielen nor Marquez Valdes-Scantling are on the list.
That means that both Thielen and MVS will be active on Sunday for the Steelers and will make their respective debuts with the team.
Thielen was acquired via waivers after he was released by the Minnesota Vikings this past week. Valdes-Scantling was signed to the practice squad after the trade deadline but has yet to make his debut.
Because he has only been with the team for days, it remains to be seen how much Thielen will be able to take on in his first game with the Steelers.
However, if anyone can get acclimated into a new offense quickly, it's a vet like Thielen, who is as savvy as they come.
Valdes-Scantling is in a better position to play a full complement of snaps, seeing as how he's had about a month to learn the playbook.
Hat said, we still wouldn't expect much out of MVS after he has showed clear signs of decline in recent years.
Nevertheless, his presence, along with Thielen's will be welcomed for a Steelers team that desperately needed an upgrade at wide receiver.
