Former Miami Dolphins and current Las Vegas Raiders running back Raheem Mostert had strong words for his former team after it traded both Jonnu Smith and Jalen Ramsey to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.

The blockbuster trade saw the Steelers acquire Smith, Ramsey and a 2027 seventh-round pick for Minkah Fitzpatrick and a 2027 fifth-rounder. Ramsey is also getting a $1.5 million raise, and Smith received a one-year, $12 million extension, which the Dolphins clearly weren't intent on giving him after he asked for a new deal.

After the trade, Mostert took to X to slam the Dolphins for how they treat their Pro Bowlers, which Smith was in 2024 and Ramsey was in 2023 for Miami.

"Hot take: Be a Pro-bowler on the Dolphins, get treated like s***," Mostert said. "Happy for my guys though! GO BALL OUT!!"

Mostert spent three seasons with the Dolphins and managed to revive his career there. In 2023, he posted a 1,000-yard campaign and broke the franchise record for touchdowns scored in a single season with 21 (18 rushing).

Mostert did score an extension in 2024, but he was cut earlier this offseason after losing the starting job to De'Von Achane last season.

It's pretty clear Mostert is very bitter about how things ended in Miami. Whether or not his strong statement and this latest trade will give other players pause before joining the Dolphins remains to be seen.
