The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off back-to-back 10-7 seasons, and long-time coach Mike Tomlin has maintained stability with the franchise.
The Steelers have not had a losing season in 18 years with Tomlin, but Pittsburgh also has not won a postseason game since 2016. The quarterback question remains fluid, too. Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson, and rookie Will Howard are the quarterbacks on the roster while Aaron Rodgers remains a question mark.
Pittsburgh added Seattle receiver DK Metcalf and traded George Pickens to the Cowboys, and those moves should help the Steelers keep up in the always-competitive AFC North.
Pittsburgh will face the NFC North and AFC East as part of their schedule rotation this year, as well as facing a second-place schedule in 2025.
Here is a complete breakdown of the Steelers' 2025 schedule, including dates, start times, and analysis for all 17 games.

Steelers strength of schedule
The Steelers have the ninth-most difficult regular-season schedule based on opponents' records from last season, and it's the second-most difficult schedule among the AFC North teams.
Pittsburgh has seven games against teams that made the NFL playoffs last season. That includes the home-and-home against Baltimore. The Ravens beat the Steelers 28-14 in the AFC wild-card round last season.
The Steelers also face the Bills, Packers, and Vikings at home and Lions and Chargers on the road. Pittsburgh only faces four teams — the Bears, Browns, Jets, and Patriots — who won fewer than eight games last season.
Toughest tests: The Lions lost just three games last season, and that will be the toughest NFC North matchup on the schedule. The Steelers were a .500 team on the road last season, and the Chargers are another team that will be tough to play on the West Coast. Pittsburgh beat Los Angeles 20-10 last season.
The combined record of the six home opponents outside the division last year was 64-38, a winning percentage of .628. That's made for marquee matchups, but the Steelers are just 10-7 at home the past two seasons.
Biggest breaks: Buffalo was a .500 team on the road last season, so playing them at Acrisure Stadium is a break. Josh Allen is 3-1 against the Steelers, but he has a 58% completion with eight TDs and three interceptions in those games.
The Steelers have won the past six home meetings against the Packers and the past three home meetings with the Vikings. Those would be tougher games if they were on the road.
The Patriots, Jets, and Bears were 5-19 on the road last year, and all three teams have first-year coaches.
Steelers record prediction
- Over/under win total: 8.5 (per BetMGM)
Bottom line: Will Aaron Rodgers play for the Steelers? That would influence this record, and the schedule release might offer some hints about how many prime-time games the Steelers have. Pittsburgh faces the Packers and Jets this year, Rodgers' two previous teams.
How will the Steelers fare in the AFC North? Pittsburgh has split with the Browns over the past three years with three straight road losses against Cleveland. The Steelers have won three of the past four against the Bengals, but Cincinnati has won three of the past four at Pittsburgh. Then, there is Baltimore, who won two of three vs. Pittsburgh last season. Burrow and Lamar Jackson are elite quarterbacks. Do the Steelers have an answer this year?
Tomlin is good for the winning record. We know that by now, but with that uncertainty at the most important position, it's tough to place Pittsburgh ahead of the Ravens and Bengals at this point.
Record prediction: 9-8
