The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers will square off for the first time in the 2025 NFL season on Sunday in Week 14, and there are a lot of playoff implications in this matchup.
Baltimore and Pittsburgh, who share the same record at 6-6, are fighting for the NFC North, and whoever wins Sunday's contest will take sole possession of first place in the division.
This is the biggest game of the season for both teams, and tensions will be high at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. That said, let's take a look at what the experts think will transpire this weekend between the Ravens and Steelers.
NFL Week 14 picks: Ravens vs. Steelers
Bill Bender, AllSportsPeople: Ravens 23, Steelers 20
Bender: "Who wants to win the AFC North? The Ravens and Steelers are tied at the top with matching.500 records. Baltimore beat Pittsburgh twice at home last season — including a 28-14 victory in the AFC playoffs. It's a desperation game on both sides; meaning it will be close."
Lou Scataglia, NFL Spin Zone: Ravens 20, Steelers 17
Scataglia: "A once-proud division is mediocre at best this year. Baltimore is going to win a sloppy game and regain control of the AFC North, likely being able to seal the deal down the stretch, and perhaps a losing season for the first time in the Mike Tomlin era is what this Steelers’ franchise really needs."
Matt Johnson, Sportsnaut: Steelers 17, Ravens 14
Johnson: "It’s probably going to be an ugly Week 14 duel between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers, especially given that the AFC North is at stake. Our concern for Baltimore is how ineffective Lamar Jackson looks playing through three leg injuries (toe, hamstring and knee). Derrick Henry will still give the Ravens a shot at taking down Pittsburgh, but we just don’t have enough faith in Baltimore’s offensive line."
Gennaro Filice, NFL.com: Ravens 24, Steelers 16
Filice: "That said, this year's Pittsburgh defense is anything but a Steel Curtain. The unit is giving up 365.1 yards per game, which currently ranks 28th in the league and dead last in the proud history of this franchise. As one of the best rivalries in football, Steelers-Ravens is never easy to handicap. But while both sides enter this game at 6-6, the visiting team seems more likely to dip below.500 -- and, quite possibly, stay there for the first losing season of the Tomlin era."
Jeremy Fowler: Ravens
Dan Graziano: Steelers
Pamela Maldonado: Steelers
Eric Moody: Ravens
Seth Wickersham: Ravens
