Mike Tomlin reacts to 'fire Tomlin' chants from Steelers fans during Week 13 loss image

It's no secret that many Pittsburgh Steelers fans want head coach Mike Tomlin gone.

Their frustration is understandable. After all, the Steelers have been stuck in neutral for far too many years now and the team hasn't won a playoff game since 2016.

Pittsburgh is once again an average-at-best team in 2025 and it doesn't look like that coveted playoff win is going to come this season.

While the Steelers posted their latest putrid performance on Sunday in a loss to the Buffalo Bills, "fire Tomlin" chants rang out across Acrisure Stadium.

When asked about that after the game, Tomlin said he understands where Steelers fans are coming from.

"I share their frustration tonight. We didn’t do enough," Tomlin said, per ESPN's Brooke Pryor.

That would be an understatement.

The Steelers mustered up just 166 yards of total offense, with 108 coming through the air and 58 on the ground. Pittsburgh was just 3-of-9 on third downs and the offense never felt close to getting it together.

The defense did its best to keep the Steelers in the game, but ultimately the unit wasn't able to do enough to overcome the awful offensive effort.

With the loss, the Steelers fall to 6-6 on the season and back into second place in the AFC North.

Pittsburgh will look to rebound in Week 14, when it takes on the Baltimore Ravens in what is easily the biggest game of the year thus far.

The winner will be in first place.
