DK Metcalf swiped at a fan on Sunday as the Pittsburgh Steelers played in Detroit against the Lions.
It's an incident that could get Metcalf in trouble if the NFL decides to apply some discipline.
One side of the story that wasn't clear until late Sunday night is what actually happened. Clearly, Metcalf didn't seek out someone entirely random just for the heck of it.
The Detroit Free Press tracked down the fan who got in the altercation and has gotten the story from that perspective.
So what happened? The fan says he just used Metcalf's full name.
"What, my full name isn't DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf," the fan said. "He doesn't like his government name. I called him that and then he grabbed me and ripped my shirt."

It'd be interesting to hear more from Metcalf about what happened, too.
The NFL will certainly want to get all sides of the story. They'll have to figure out how to discipline Metcalf, be that a big fine or a suspension.
It's hard to know for sure who is telling more of the truth here. But Metcalf will likely hear from the league soon.
With the Steelers fighting for the playoffs, it wouldn't be ideal to lose Metcalf for any length of time.
