There is a major ejection in the Cincinnati Bengals-Pittsburgh Steelers Week 11 game on Sunday afternoon.

Cornerback Jalen Rams ey has been ejected from the contest after getting into not one, but two scuffles with wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase in the fourth quarter.

Here's what was behind the scuffles and the ejection.

Why Jalen Ramsey was ejected

Ramsey was ejected from the contest after initially getting an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty following his first altercation with Chase.

It isn't clear exactly what led to their scuffle, but we know both players can get heated, and that's especially true for Ramsey.

Then, Ramsey got into another scuffle with Chase after the very next play and was caught throwing a punch at the Bengals wideout, which led to his being kicked out of the game.

Here's video of the punch in question.

This is just a brutal blow for the Steelers' defense, which is already short-handed in the secondary, especially because of injuries to guys like Darius Slay and DeShon Elliott.

Ramsey was playing safety lately because of Elliott's injury, and he moved to slot cornerback on Sunday thanks to an injury to Brandin Echols.

Now, it'll be interesting to see if Ramsey faces a suspension.

We saw both the Washington Commanders' Daron Payne and the Detroit Lions' Brian Branch get ejected for throwing punches this season, so it's certainly possible.

At the very least, Ramsey will be hit with a hefty fine.
