The Pittsburgh Steelers have a tough matchup against a good Minnesota Vikings defense in Week 4, so the team desperately needs wide receiver DK Metcalf to step up.
Metcalf has been Pittsburgh's No. 1 wide receiver through three contests, with the veteran tallying 135 yards and two scores on 10 receptions. Metcalf ranks second on the team to only running back Jaylen Warren in receiving yards entering Sunday.
However, Metcalf is off to a quiet start in the Week 4 game against the Vikings.
Here's a look at what's going on with Metcalf.
Is DK Metcalf playing today?
UPDATE: Metcalf is officially on the board with his first catch, which came on the team's second offensive series.
It went for 15 yards.
END OF UPDATE
Yes, Metcalf is active, healthy and in the lineup, he just hasn't been targeted yet.
The Steelers' first drive was a mess, so there wasn't much of an opportunity for Metcalf to get the ball.
Aaron Rodgers was sacked on the very first play, and the veteran signal-caller was limited to just dump-offs in a series that resulted in a three-and-out.
The Steelers need to do a better job protecting Rodgers or else it could be a long day for Metcalf and Pittsburgh's offense.
