The Pittsburgh Steelers have a significant concern with quarterback Aaron Rodgers after he suffered an injury in the Week 12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Rodgers suffered a wrist injury in the first half and did not return to the game in the second half. He was replaced by Mason Rudolph, who was able to navigate the Steelers to a 34-12 win.

After the game, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Rodgers is believed to have "a slight break" in his wrist, but he still has to undergo more testing to determine the severity.

The expectation is that Rodgers will miss time, though.

"The initial concern is that Aaron Rodgers has, in the words of one source, 'a slight break' his left wrist, but the Steelers quarterback will undergo further testing Monday to determine the full extent of the injury and how long he’ll be sidelined, per league sources," Schefter reported.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport add that Rodgers' injury isn't believed to be long term, so that's good news.

"Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers will undergo more tests Monday on his left wrist, but the initial belief is it’s nothing long term," Pelissero wrote on X. "X-rays at the stadium showed a small fracture. They won’t know more until further scans."

The Steelers are fortunate to have a solid backup in Rudolph, but the Steelers' hopes of making noise in the playoffs rest on Rodgers' arm.

Pittsburgh also has very little margin for error moving forward, as the Baltimore Ravens are breathing down their neck with the Steelers' AFC North rival just a game back in the division.

Steelers fans will wait with bated breath to see what news comes down on Monday.
