While the status of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still in question, there are reports that he did show up to Soldier Field just ahead of the Steelers' showdown with the Chicago Bears.
ESPN's Dan Graziano says Rodgers showed up but wasn't exactly in the mood to answer questions from reporters about his condition and if he will be available to play Sunday.
"Aaron Rodgers arrived at Soldier Field about 20 minutes ago, walked one lap around the field, flipped off a couple of the cameras that were filming and went back inside. Used his right hand to flip the bird, so unclear if he could do it with his left. Status for today’s game still up in the air."
There were reports earlier in the week that Rodgers may have suffered a broken wrist. Graz also said Sunday morning on SportsCenter that they were going to let Rodgers decide if he's ready to go.
From the looks of it, it does appear that Rodgers may play, but it may be a game-time decision, and the Steelers may not want to tip their hand one way or another about Rodgers' status.
The Steelers' playoff hopes hang in the balance as they face the Bears Sunday, and another loss would put them one step closer to being eliminated from playoff contention.
So as of now, Aaron Rodgers' status is still unknown.
