Jalen Carter has missed the last three games for the Philadelphia Eagles after undergoing a procedure on his shoulders.

Carter had been playing through injuries on both of his shoulders for most of the season before getting surgery. The 24-year-old has been out of the lineup since Week 13, but still managed to notch his second Pro Bowl selection.

Getting Carter back would be a major boost for Vic Fangio's defense, but will the star defensive tackle make his return in Week 17 versus the Buffalo Bills?

Will Jalen Carter play in Week 17?

Carter stated on Wednesday that he expects to play on Sunday against the Bills.

"Jalen Carter said he expects to play on Sunday. He had some shots in his shoulders before missing the last three weeks and is already feeling the benefits," Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia said on X.

In 10 games this year, Carter has tallied 32 tackles and two sacks, along with 36 quarterback pressures. His return to the lineup comes at just the right time for the Eagles, who are fighting for playoff positioning in a loaded NFC.
