The Philadelphia Eagles have pulled Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith from the Week 15 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The decision comes in the fourth quarter with the Eagles winning 31-0. There was simply no reason to keep the starters in the game with Philly up that much, and with the lifeless Raiders playing awful football.
The Eagles will cruise to victory, improving their record to 9-5 and improving their chances of winning the NFC East.
Why Eagles pulled Hurts, Brown, Smith
Hurts got shaken-up at the end of the third quarter and limped off the field. He did come back in the game for Philly, but the Eagles wisely pulled him to avoid Hurts suffering another injury.
And the Eagles are also simply protecting Brown and Smith.
Not ideal for fantasy football owners out there, but the Eagles have to worry about keeping their guys healthy for the playoffs.
