The Philadelphia Eagles chose to break out some fun uniforms for a big NFC East game on Sunday.
It's Week 12 against the Dallas Cowboys, and the Eagles are wearing kelly green.
It also had fans wondering about their logo. On the Fox scorebug and on the helmets, this was a different looking eagle than usual.
Here's the scoop.
Why did the Eagles change their logo?
The Eagles changed their logo, sort of, to go along with their uniforms.
But they didn't actually change their logo. This is a throwback look.
The logo showing up on Sunday's broadcast is actually an old Eagles logo. It's the one that they had when they wore these old kelly green uniforms.
ESPN wrote about it this week:
"Philadelphia's throwback threads include the classic Eagles logo with wings on the side of the helmet. The Eagles wore the look in Week 8 against the New York Giants and remain undefeated in it since it debuted in 2023. Sunday marks the first time since its return that Philadelphia will wear it for a road matchup."
The Eagles got off to a great start with it on Sunday, too.
