We're used to seeing Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert play a key role in the team's offense.
We've seen that again this season, as Goedert is having one of his better season as a pro in terms of receiving production, which is especially impressive because of how Philly's offense has struggled in 2025.
However, Goedert is putting up a quiet first half in the Week 16 game against the Washington Commanders.
Here's a closer look at what.
What happened to Dallas Goedert?
It's hard to say why Goedert is having a rough first half. We know the Commanders have not been good at defending tight ends this season, with Washington ceding the second-most fantasy points per game to the position this season.
Goedert should be lighting it up, but that is not the case.
The Eagles have actually been moving the ball well through the air, so that isn't the issue. However, quarterback Jalen Hurts has only connected with his top two wide receivers, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
Hopefully things change soon, but it isn't looking good for the veteran tight end.
